Morrall River Films is dedicated to producing video guide
books and other films for the benefit of the paddling community, and to have as much fun as we possibly can along the way.

After over 20 years of paddling and filming our adventures, we've decided to form Morrall River Films, Inc. We've paddled many great rivers across the Midwest and Canada, but we've come to the conclusion that the best paddling is here in our own backyard: the Wisconsin/Illinois area. This is where we are starting our video guidebook series.
All of the streams that we film are perfectly suitable for either kayaks or canoes. You'll notice that we normally paddle solo canoes. This is a contributing factor to our happy marriage of over twenty years. Couples who paddle tandem no doubt understand what we mean.
On any given weekend, rain or shine, you can find us paddling in the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area. We also enjoy extended trips to the Canadian wilderness. Some of our recent trips include the Sand, Steel, Turtle, Otoskowin, Managotagen, Serpent and Berrens rivers.
When we aren't paddling (usually during the winter months) we're in the shop, building and restoring wooden canoes.
Morrall River Films is committed to producing films that we hope will benefit the paddling community in one way or another. We would love to hear your suggestions and comments.
